City Dwellers

So last week I started working on a 18″ x 24″ poster. It will all be hand drawn and ill either use water color or acrylics or maybe a little of both. I am currently drawing all of my ideas up for the poster. Its going to be a scene with a lot of different characters in it. It will more than likely be a large city scape. Here is one of the characters that I did a quick draw up of a few days ago.

I’m hoping to have the poster done in a few weeks, but time is not a very good friend to me most of the time so we will see what happens.

I’m planning on doing some silk screen projects in a month or so, just to experiment with something different for once. I also am working on a giant piece that is made of clear 1/4″ acrylic and will have colored vinyl applied to front surface and possibly have some sort of back lighting. I figured I would take advantage of the resources I have gained with my new job and try and make some cool stuff. Including some over sized vinyl toys.

Hopefully I am going to be doing an art show with some friends of mine sometime this summer but I post something about it when or if it does happen.

Snowcones

Here is a water color experiment I recently did. This was drawn with Micron Pens and on 8.5″ x 14″ Matte Card Stock. I used generic water color paint. Ive been messing around with different types of paints and mediums lately. Ive slowly learning that painting is definitely something that takes patience. You should go check out my friend Trey. He makes cool art too.
